This is a special facsimile edition following the original published designs. Winnie-The-Pooh Collectors' Edition comprises: Winnie-The-Pooh (first published in 1926);  The House At Pooh Corner (first published in 1928);  When We Were Very Young (first published in 1924); and;  Now We Are Six (first published in 1927). Published by Methuen Children's Books, London, in association with The Folio Society. Printed and bound by Jarrolds Book Printing, Thetford (Jarrold and Sons were the original printers of the series). First edition thus, 1999. A fine set of cloth bound hardbacks with gilt decoration and titles, housed in a slipcase with blue paper over boards, and metallic printing to front. Books are in lovely condition and appear to be unread. Some light wear and minor markings to slipcase. Books with shiny gilt top edge. A charming set. Text in English. Dimensions: each volume approx 198mm high x 130mm wide x 12mm deep. Approximate size of box set: 205mm high x 135mm wide x 65mm deep. Weight: approximately 1360g (the set - unpacked).

Covers clean and bright, and clean within. End-papers with colour maps of the Hundred Acre Wood. E. H. Shepard's illustrations in colour throughout. Housed in the card slipcase, gilt title to side, some minor shelf-wear. Overall a 'Very Good+' set.
